First-graders at Taylor Ranch Elementary celebrated Arbor Day by “Thanking A Landscaper” with ArtisTree Landscape Maintenance &Design. ArtisTree Arborist Maria Muhlhahn and Account Executive Bill Gipp read to the students, guided them through a tree-drawing exercise and presented each child with crape myrtle saplings to take home and plant with their families.
“Arbor Day is the perfect time for youngsters to learn about the many benefits trees provide and why trees can’t grow up without their care,” said Muhlhahn. “These kids really enjoyed learning how they can be a “landscaper” in their own backyard and how “landscapers” can be anyone – their parents, friends or teachers.”
